Adolescents represent a unique segment of the population. The number and causes of injuries they sustain are different compared to those sustained by younger children. A deeper understanding of the service needs specific to adolescents after a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is essential to both decision makers and service providers to help create and tailor services that are best suited to the distinctiveness of this clientele.
