Bernadette Nedelec, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She is an associate member of a Montreal-wide rehabilitation research center, the CRIR, and the Quebec provincial rehabilitation consortium, REPAR. She completed her doctoral studies in Experimental Surgery at the University of Alberta and her post-doctoral studies at the University of Montreal. Dr. Nedelec’s current research programs focus on the comprehensive evaluation of the short- and long-term consequences of burn injuries in adults, the pathophysiology, measurement, and treatment of hypertrophic scar, and knowledge translation. close

Nicol Korner-Bitensky, PhD is an Associate Professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and Leader of the Rehabilitation Theme for the Canadian Stroke Network. She is a member of a Montreal-wide rehabilitation research center, the CRIR, and the Quebec provincial rehabilitation consortium, REPAR. She completed her doctoral studies in Rehabilitation Science at McGill University, with a Major in Epidemiology and Biostatistics taken in part at John Hopkins University, Baltimore. Her post-doctoral studies at the University of Montreal, Canada focused on health service delivery. Dr. Korner-Bitensky has authored more than 60 articles related to rehabilitation, many on assessment and intervention practices. Her priority interests are focused on best practice uptake by clinicians, and family and client focused knowledge translation strategies. She is the leader of the team who created StrokEngine – the free access website available in French and English to provide clinicians and families with best-practice information on stroke rehabilitation. AS the co-leader of the project CP-Engine, she focused on the creation of a knowledge translation tool for rehabilitation clinicians working with children experiencing cerebral palsy. close

Lorie Kloda is a librarian at the McGill Life Sciences Library where she coordinates information literacy instruction in the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry. Lorie is also involved in projects promoting health literacy for consumers and in teaching of evidence-based healthcare and academic integrity. Her research interests include the information needs and information seeking behaviors of allied health professionals. close

She has a Master's Degree in Biology and a passion for research that has allowed her to extend her research skills and interests from the basic sciences to the clinical milieu. close
